 Excellent ShoeJan 30, 2010
I've been a huge fan of another brand for a long time and never really gave much thought to Adidas as a serious running shoe. What can I say, I was very wrong. This is my third pair of Adidas, the first two being the Response Cushion and the Adistar Cushion. The Glide is in a lower "class" but to be honest I noticed nothing that would lead you to believe this. I run on paved road and packed limestone trails. The Glide has no problems absorbing the impact of my heavier frame (6'4" 180) even on longer (10+ mile) runs. The fit is wonderful, arch support is very good and the shoes wraps around the food wonderfully. One thing that was on these shoes that wasn't on the others was the new memory foam tongue. It's absolutely wonderful and really does spread the pressure of the laces out over the top of the foot more evenly.

I would say that this shoe runs 1/2 size too short. Order a 1/2 size larger. Other sites have this stated in their description. My son loves these shoes and says they are very comfortable with lots of support for his narrow foot.

This running shoe is relatively light, neutral cushion, with a somewhat high arch. The previous version of this shoe was an A++, but I have to downgrade this slightly due to a bit more rigidity (which I don't need) and increased plastic (the black outer material in the picture) in place of some of the fabric. The increased plastic took a good 50 miles to wear in, before which it squished my toes. Still, as a picky runner, this shoe met my high expectations once I wore it in. I would recommend it to anyone with a neutral running style and medium to high arches who likes a light, minimalist shoe.

This shoe is just not a running shoe. Yes I run some, but i walk up to 17 miles a day cleaning floors and I found the ultimate run, walk, jogg. I have big feet and I am also a big guy. I got them for like 35 from dick's sporting goods, but i would have paid [...] bucks for them. You can get them wider too. The front of the shoe is awesome a lot of support but not heavy like most walking shoes. This shoe rocks! Five Stars! My wife knows how to pick them!

I buy this shoes to wore them almost everyday for college. The are my go 2 shoe; comfortable, responsive, durable and nice looking. I haven't use them for running yet because I have an accident with my knee and I am recovering from it. I know that if I used for running will be excellent. I highly recommend this shoes to a friend. Another great shoe by Adidas.
