 Not the right shoe for me...Dec 12, 2011

I am average to athletic build and run a variety of terrains. I bought these shoes wondering if they would be better than the brand/style of running shoes I'd been using for YEARS. They were okay, but not beyond that. They're well built and did not rip out or anything like that, but the support in them is pitiful, if you have any arch to your feet. Needless to say, I quickly went back to the other shoes--which have never done me wrong!

These are some darn comfortable running shoes, once you break them in. They have great underfoot cushion and the right amount of stability built into the upper so that my feet don't feel wobbly in them, but they don't feel excessively stiff either. They have a nice, aggressive tread, an aesthetically pleasing appearance and the lace pocket built into the tongue is an added bonus. The only issue I have with these is the elastic straps on the inside that keep the tongue in place. At first these straps were so tight that they actually made my feet cramp up along the elastic strap, because they would press against the side of my foot. They have since loosened up, but it took a couple of weeks.
