Weird fit, good qualityJun 18, 2010
As is expected from Merrell - the quality is excellent, but what happened to the fit? The higher strap is too narrow where as the bottom one near the toes is too wide. I fit into size 8 perfectly but if anything could be said about my feet is that they may lean toward being Wide if at all, so it makes no sence for the toe strap to be so wide nor for the top arch strap to be narrow. Just a bad design i guess. Also they look a lot Prettier on pictures than in person. They're much chunkier in reality and don't go with a skirt as i had hoped (:( No rubbing anywhere as some have rated tho. So the bottom line is that i won't be order another in a different color, oh well.. gotta keep searching..

These are nice. I was impressed with the look when I opened the box. I ordered the autumn color (gorgeous!) in my regular size (10) but I find them to be a little snug, especially the width part. Wide feet would not work at all with these, I don't think. I also note that the little tab at the top, near the toes, started to dig in to the top of my toes. I keep wanting to roll it back a bit. Anyway, I'm wearing them with socks for awhile to try and get them to break in/stretch a bit. If they do, they'll be Golden!

would not order from this company again as you can not make an exchange, and are charged a restocking fee of $5.95 on return.

Love these! Supposedly they have some new design things to fit the angle a woman's stride better, and they do feel different than some older Merrell's I have - not sure if that's better or not, as they're all comfortable, just a bit different. Love the look, they are quite feminine but casual, too. Worn them all day a few times at work and on vacation with no problems. The straps don't adjust, unfortunately - they fit me about perfectly, as about a medium-plus but narrow or x-wide feet may not fit these at all well.
