Only shoes I want to wear!!!Nov 11, 2009
By S. Thomas If you have ANY doubts about what shoe to buy for walking and/or running, please don't hesitate to buy this shoe! I was walking/running on the treadmill in a pair of New Balance and my feet and back were killing me. I tried these shoes and I promise you my feet don't hurt and my back is 99% better. I don't want to wear dress shoes to work anymore! I put these on as soon as I get home in the afternoon and everywhere on the weekend. I LOVE THESE SHOES! I want another pair just in case something happens to mine or they discontinue them. By the way... I was told at the shoe store where I bought them to buy a bigger size. I normally wear a 7 1/2 and I bought an 8. They told me and I've also read that as a runner you need at least 1/2 size bigger than what you normally wear. I also bought superfeet insoles to go in mine to help with my plantar fasciitis. I wouldn't be without the insoles. Wonderful product as well.

Great Running ShoeDec 24, 2009
By L. Corsetti This is my third pair of the Saucony Progrid Triumph 6. I usually wear a size 8.5, but opted for the 9 in this case. Prior running shoe was Asics Gel Nimbus 9 and I love the Saucony more. Switched to Saucony after the Gel Nimbus 10 came out with a very narrow toe box. Very comfortable, flexible feel, plenty of toe box room. Very light. Decent stability in the heel of the shoe but not too much. I have medium arches and these work great for me. Would definitely recommend. Only reservation, one pair had a tongue that was too stiff and dug into my ankle. Solved this by trimming the edge of the tongue and was no longer a problem. Decent life span for a softer shoe.

great shoeJun 23, 2009
By Mary M. Macro This sneaker is one of the best I have ever owned and I buy approximately 4 pair per year. I am a walker, not a runner, but these shoes give me great support at a very light weight and I use them for walking and also everyday wear at work.

Saucony Triumph series great as a lightweight training shoe for a narrow, neutral footFeb 11, 2010

This is my second go at the Saucony Triumph 6 and I love it for a lightweight training shoe. It's perfect for those with neutral arches and a narrow foot, with it's semi-curved footbed and little posting (i.e. it allows your foot to flex out with each step, providing very little motion control.)
The outsole is grippy enough to withstand Vancouver's slippery side walks, with which I was initially concerned, so it's an ideal shoe regardless from which part of the country you hail.

Walking on AirAug 10, 2009
By K. Randhahn I love these shoes. I am a huge Saucony fan. Triumph 6 is even better than the Trigon 5. I have had surgery on both feet (for plantar fasciitis) and have had some complications ever since. I wear the Triumph 6's everywhere now. They are the most comfortable shoes!!! Lots of cushioning in the ball of foot area and lots of room in the toe box.
