Have helped with foot painJul 15, 2009
By M. Gray I recently had bunion surgery and was having heel pain--probably from favoring the front part of my foot. Since purchasing these shoes, I have had no further issues with my heel. They have been comfortable since I put them on. I will be buying Brooks shoes for their support and good fit from now on.

A runner friend of my husband's recently recommended Brooks to him, as he is a severe pronator and walks a mile to and from work every day. Bought him a pair of Beasts for Father's Day and he can't say enough good things about them.
When my SI joint pain recently became so severe that I started contemplating spinal fusion surgery, my husband suggested I try a pair of Brooks first. I used the Shoe Advisor on their website and based upon my frame size and intended use, it recommended I try the Adrenaline GTS 10. I researched them a great deal before spending any money, as they are not cheap. It turns out that for my needs, the GTS 9 was a better match (wider and slightly better support). I don't wear these to run; in fact, I haven't run in years. But I needed a solid stability shoe with arch support for my back, which is a mess due to scoliosis.
These are amazing. First pair of athletic shoes I've ever owned that felt great out of the box. I was formerly a New Balance devotee, but now I'll never go back.

great shoes for those in need of some controlMay 15, 2010
By S. Ferguson I've been wearing Brooks for the last decade or so and have converted my wife onto their Adrenaline line after she started having problems with her arches and ankles. She's had a pair, wore them out and then tried a different brand that was supposed to be comparable. She ended up getting shin splints and her feet hurt on long runs. We picked up this pair of Brooks and all her problems have disappeared. I highly recommend the Adrenalines for men or women if you have pronation issues (roll your feet to the outside).

2nd pairMay 19, 2010
By E. Blair This is the second pair I've owned. I tried the GTS 10 but my heel slipped a bit. I have a narrower foot, and the GTS 9 fits me better. I've been buying the Adrenaline GTS series for a few years.

By Walter Kovacs I got these as a gift for my wife and she loves them. She says it's like "walking on pillows."
