Merrell mesh encore clogsMar 09, 2010
I have two pairs in the mesh style. Since I wear custom orthodics, I ordered a size up and removed the insoles that came with the shoes. My foot is wide and the mesh seems to form to ones' foot.
I live in the country/forest and am out on the acreage tending various chores while wearing the shoes. Although I would not advise doing so...but I have removed my insoles and popped them into the washer after being outside. I air dried them and they came out o.k. each time.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They fit my foot like they were made specifically for me. They are breathable but also comfortable in cool weather and look very good with pants. I have several pairs and wear them almost every day.

I bought these shoes to wear to work. I am an ICU nurse who works 12 hour shifts in the hospital. I have tried everything from Crocs, clogs and sneakers like Nike and New Balance and these are by far the best! I come home and although I still have body aches after a slammin' night, my ankles and knees are not swollen, my dogs aren't barkin' and my lower back doesn't hurt as much. THE ONLY COMPLAINT: I think my feet are probably in between a medium and wide width, since these shoes were very tight on the band when brand new, it took a good week to break them in right. I would NOT recommend these shoes to anyone with a wide foot.Overall, great shoes that I now want in every color!
