Even though the reviews were mainly positive for the Rockport Women's Ferne Double Gore Slip On, I am always worried about buying shoes online.
The main thing that attracted me to this shoe was that it was a wedge. At work they provide the best all day support for my feet. I also liked that they were leather and pretty basic, so that they could be worn with most anything.
When I received them I immediately tried them on, just in case I had to return them. Luckily there will be no returning of these shoes. I bought both the Black and Brown and they are a perfect fit. The sizing is right on for me, I ordered my usual size with no problems. I walked around half the night at home in them and my feet were very happy.
These are well made shoes that provide you comfort and little style at a unbelievable price. These are only my 2nd and 3rd pairs of Rockport, but I can already tell they won't be my last.

Very cute shoes- but really narrow. Based on an earlier review I ordered my usual size 7 -turns out it was too narrow, and I have really narrow feet. I don't want to risk trying the wide or the next size up- too bad, Must return.

The shoe is a very nice, but it was too narrow for me. I ordered a wide width, but it felt very narrow. I will have to return the shoe, which makes me sad because the shoe is very well constructed and looks like it would wear well.

These shoes would have been great if the back of my ankle didn't keep slipping off. I returned them for this reason. Otherwise, they're comfortable and attractive looking. They're very pretty and the color Fondente is actually a very nice color.........a very dark brown.

I was afraid the shoe would be too narrow due to the previous review, and ended up sizing up by a 1/2 to a 9.5 (WIDE). But there was no need to as it ended up being an "okay" fit. A 9 (WIDE) would've suited me better, but I'll keep the shoe because it's easy to slip on and off and is mighty comfortable. The sizing is pretty accurate, so order what you'd normally wear!
